Michelle Lana was born in Manila, Philippines and came to the U.S. at age 13. Her mom had her heart set on her daughter becoming a Nurse. But Michelle cannot remember a time when she did not love to draw, and that love continues to this day.

 

So with persistent pleading, Michelle got what she wanted: a degree in Studio Arts from George Mason University. After she graduated, she immediately found a new beginning as a graphic designer- with patience and perseverance she eventually developed a unique style.

Michelle's first love will always remain traditional illustration. She hopes someday to make lots of children smile with her art.
